Michael Scott Molen Found Guilty of Lewd Conduct with a Minor
(Boise) – On Friday, after more than five hours of deliberation, a Boise County jury found Michael Scott Molen guilty of lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 16 on Friday, Attorney General Lawrence Wasden said. Fourth District Judge George Carey ordered Molen held in custody pending sentencing without bond. He will be sentenced on September 14, 2007.
A resident of Garden Valley, Molen, 46, was charged September 19, 2005, with having genital to genital contact with an eight-year-old child. Lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 16 carries a sentence of up to life in prison and also requires registration as a sex offender for life.
