Open Meeting / Public Records Seminars Set for October

(Boise) – Attorney General Lawrence Wasden and Idahoans for Openness in Government (IDOG) invite the public to attend workshops on Idaho's Open Meeting Law and Idaho's Public Records Law this month in Hailey, Twin Falls, Fort Hall and Rexburg. The three-hour workshops are free and are designed to educate local government officials, journalists and the public in an entertaining way. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP as indicated for the respective workshops.

Wasden and IDOG have conducted approximately 30 Open Meeting / Public Records seminars since 2008, most recently in Payette, Nampa and Boise in late 2012 and early 2013.  Workshops for northern Idaho are being planned for 2014.
