(Boise) – Attorney General Lawrence Wasden has announced the arrest of an Ada County man following an investigation by his office’s Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit.
The Ada County Sheriff’s Office arrested 68-year-old Kirk McCollough on an outstanding warrant on Tuesday, December 28. The warrant was issued following an ICAC investigation that began in April. McCollough is accused of sexual exploitation of a child. He is alleged to have accessed sexually exploitative material. He was taken to the Ada County Jail following his arrest.
In addition to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office assisted the ICAC Unit.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.
